Natural Collection, an overview.

I always used to buy Natural Collection products when I was around 13, first starting out in makeup, as you imagine at that age, I could barely afford much, Not even products from 'cheap' brands like Rimmel, so Natural Collection never let me down with their £1.99 products!
(From left: Rose Petal, Pink Mallow, Crimson, Sweet Pea, Rose Bud)

First up are lipsticks, I only have a small collection of them, they are very inexpensive for the amazing quality! Definitley one of Natural Collections' best products, very pigmented and stay on the lips for a while!
(From left: Blush in 'Peach Melba', 'Pink Cloud'. Suntint bronzing pearls in 'Tropical'.)
These are another great bunch of products! The Blushers look very natural when blended, (especially the first one!) and the bronzing pearls are lovely on top of the cheek bones, they give a subtle bronzed appearance. The powders are very very very creamy and soft, and stay on all day! And I actually like the packaging! Can't say the same for the lipsticks...
Peach Melba

Pink Cloud

Suntint Bronzing Pearls

I also love the liners! I own the eyeliner in 'Black' and lipliner in 'Almond'. The stay on for a while, the eyeliners stay on the waterline most of the day, and on the eyelid all day, the lipliners stay on very well too and they are both very creamy and buttery.

All round, I love the products, think they are more than worth £2! The only down side is the packaging really, but what else would you expect for that sort of money, I'd rather have higher quality products and lower quality packaging than vice versa. D xxx

Sunday = Day of rest?

Does anyone else find themselves lost for things to do on Sundays? Because I never really get up to much, after spending many hours laid in bed playing Bejewelled Blitz on my ipod, I decided to actually tidy my room! I managed to make it more messy, and clear out a bunch of crap! (Including old handbags, makeup, storage boxes, clothes and others!) And I actually now feel reasonably comfortable with the 'tidiness' of my room, which is something that very rarely happens! The point of this fact is that I can now happily film a 'room tour' video, which may make its debut on Youtube (unsure on this though!) But if I'm happy enough with it, it can be posted here, as I'm sure lots of people are very intrigued by the setup of people's rooms, as I am too, and I LOVE seeing peoples makeup collections all organised, gives me a lot of inspiration! And I've been happy with my makeup setup for quite some time, before I would change it about every week or so, and never be satisfied. I shall get it filmed as soon as I can! But for now I'm listening to a bit of Gaga, 'don't be a drag, just be a queen' on this boring Sunday, as I like to say, it's a day of rest. Ciao! D xxx

My favourite summer clothes

Alot of people think summer means shorts and a tank top, very plain and simple and no 'fashion' about it, but I have included some key summer trends that will keep you looking far from plain!
A simple fringe vest, has a lovely 'block' colour, so it's not too much, but there is beautiful fringe deatiling (which I love!) because it's like wearing a crop top, but the fringe covers your belly! :-) This particular top is from Newlook, the image is not mine.
Next up is Aztec or 'tribal' printed clothes, these are so colourful and bold! Again this one is from Newlook (image is not mine) and this particular top involves very neutral earthy tones as opposed to hugely bright turquoises, hot pinks and yellows! (which can look amazing if put together correctly!)
Next up is one of my definite faves, high waisted shorts! They're great to wear with fringe vests, and any lovely sheer blouse to tuck into them! You can also take dresses and make them look like tops with these shorts just by tucking them in! I have this pair of Topshop High waisted shorts, they have lasted me 2 years! (Amazing!!) The image is not mine.

Finally, Sheer blouses, which are just so beautiful and delicate! I love to tuck these into high waisted shorts for a sweet but 'rocky' look, I also wear black bandeaus underneath for a casual look, but without exposing your bra! THis sheer blouse is from ASOS.com, and yet again, the image is not mine!

Welcome!

Hello everyone!
I have just created a Blog (obviously...) and wanted to do a sort of introduction, as the name suggests it will be a fashion and beauty blog, however I will be including posts about my life, or anything interesting, but mostly beauty and fashion. I am going to get onto my first (proper!) post soon and just wanted to send this message out there!xxx
